The idea of building an ocean pool is raised at just about every single community forum regarding coastal development. It is an immensely popular concept, and for those of us who have spent some time in New South Wales or Queensland, the absence of ocean pools provides a degree of parochial jealousy.
So why are there no ocean pools in southwest Australia?
